Yusan, the emblematic group of the Parisian scene and its unique musical mix, unveils its latest opus "Ba Yo". This Creole expression, which means both "for them" and "give them", perfectly illustrates the project's generosity.
Made up of five musicians from diverse backgrounds, Yusan offers a fascinating insight into cultural plurality through a blend of Caribbean music, Afrobeat, jazz, soul and gospel. Their music transcends borders and brings musical worlds together to create a breathtaking sonic experience.

Hanna Hägglund is a Swedish artist, chorister and songwriter, with a busy background between her own projects and the singer/songwriter profession (albums, tours, TV, musicals, dubbing, commercials...).
Pascal Lafa: as well as having released several solo albums, he composes for film and advertising. He also arranges and produces songs for pop artists.
Nicolas Giraud: in 1996 he joined Tony Allen's band (Fela's legendary drummer), with whom he has performed all over the world. He has also toured and recorded with Claude Nougaro, Keren Ann and Charles Aznavour.
Antoine Giraud: a trombonist by training, Antoine has played with renowned artists such as Olivia Ruiz and Tony Allen, as well as in numerous world music groups, from the Caribbean to the Maghreb. He teaches at the Conservatoire.

Good old-fashioned rock'n'roll of the kind you don't hear much anymore, the vocals are totally convincing and sound like they're straight out of another era.
Originally from Bergerac, Geoffrey, the band's leader, tried his hand at guitar and vocals and formed a band in high school with his friends. Blues is definitely their world. Geoffrey regularly performed on local stages alongside bluesmen, where he met Mr Tchang, who became an influential mentor. An album, Rock and Roll Attack, was released in 2019. 
In 2023, the band evolves into a quartet and presents a new album, Easier said than done.
